Moving (not far!) and I'm writing a Textbook!

Hello hello! Things have been busy and I haven’t been posting much, but I hope to get back to that. Thank you to those who have watched me recently and I promise to upload some new things soon!

In the meantime, I have some NEWS that I wanted to share!

1) we may be RELOCATING! Studio 306 at the GoggleWorks has been a good home to us for a long time, but we may be leaving there this summer and opening a store. Right now we are looking to open either in West Reading or in Hamburg. the location is not set yet, so if you would like to be on our mailing list for updates on the new site and info when new classes become available, etc email me at lilyhanamail@gmail.com, subject line “mailing list - moving” !

2) I am writing a JAPANESE TEXTBOOK! I have used a lot of textbooks over the years, and though some (like the Genki series) are very, very good, there always seems to be something I wished they had included (like the real difference between wa and ga, the usage of giongo/gitaigo sound effect words like pika pika and soro soro or colloquial but common slurrings like korya) that they didn’t. I also don’t agree with a lot of the methods used in most textbooks or the order in which things are taught. so, I am writing me own! that’s it for now! we may also have a table this year at Zenkaikon and Anime USA and I hope to do a Japanese language workshop at Otakon, but these are as yet unconfirmed.
